What it actually runs
- Comfortable: 24B–32B dense at usable speed on the iGPU. Same class as EVO-X2.
- Possible: 70B-class dense and large MoE on 128GB if you accept that ~256 GB/s is not Mac Studio bandwidth. Capacity is the win. Decode is not.
- Not the win: training, CUDA-only stacks, or beating a 5090 on anything that already fits in 32GB VRAM. Ignore vendor token-rate slides.

- Memory is soldered. Pick 128GB now or do not buy this for large models. BIOS can allocate up to 96GB of 128GB to iGPU cache (vendor FAQ).
- 256-bit LPDDR5X-8000, ~256 GB/s theoretical. Same limiter as Framework and EVO-X2. Not a Mac Studio / discrete CUDA decode play.
- Ports verified from the US store and reviews: dual USB4, HDMI + DisplayPort, one 2.5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 7. Some marketing copy says dual LAN; the store connectivity copy lists a single 2.5Gbps LAN port. No 10GbE.
- Three power modes. Sustained ~120W in performance mode, short burst higher. Reviews (Wccftech, Notebookcheck, Starry Hope) put performance-mode noise in the ~50 dB class. That fan is the catch.
- Vendor FAQ discusses OCuLink port alignment. Reviews and spec sheets do not treat this as a shipping eGPU box. Do not buy it for that.
