Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 with 192GB soldered LPDDR5X-8533. The 128GB ceiling moves. Bandwidth barely does.

What it is
GMKtec’s first Gorgon Halo mini. 16 Zen 5 cores, Radeon 8065S (40 RDNA 3.5 CUs), 192GB onboard LPDDR5X-8533 with up to 160GB allocatable as graphics memory, three M.2 2280, Windows 11 Pro, dual 10GbE, USB4 V2. Chassis is roughly 80 × 195 × 221 mm, about 2.5 kg, vapor chamber plus three fans, 330W Lite-On brick. Same 495 silicon class as other 192GB Halo cubes. Not the EVO-X2 / EVO-X3 Max+ 395 machine.
Who it is for
People who already decided 128GB is the wall and will pay roughly double an X2 to get 192GB in a sealed GMKtec box with dual 10GbE and DASH. Wrong if you need CUDA, if you want to open the machine later, or if you thought “320B locally” meant a usable dense 320B at speed.
What it actually runs
Comfortable: 24B–70B dense on the iGPU, same job as the 128GB Halo cubes, with more room for context and concurrent agents.
Possible: larger dense and MoE working sets that simply do not fit in 128GB. Vendor copy says up to 320B-class offline; that is a quantized capacity claim, not a token-rate claim. Memory bandwidth is still the limiter.
Not the win: training, CUDA-only stacks, or beating a discrete 32GB card on models that already fit. Ignore 320B slides.
Standout details
Price snapshot 9 Oct 2026, GMKtec US store: 192GB + 2TB $6,799; 192GB + 4TB $7,099. The $6,599 / $6,899 early-bird prices have ended. Store notes the first 100 units sold out; orders placed after Sept 29 are listed to ship Oct 9, in the order received.
Memory is soldered 192GB only. No 128GB SKU on this page. No upgrade path.
GMKtec does not publish a bandwidth figure. ACEMAGIC’s F9A spec sheet lists the same 495 chip at up to 256 GB/s; 256-bit LPDDR5X-8533 works out to ~273 GB/s theoretical. Either way it is at most a small step over the Max+ 395’s ~256 GB/s. Capacity is the product. Decode is not.
Dual 10GbE with AMD DASH, dTPM 2.0, fingerprint reader, 2× USB4 V2 (80 Gbps) + 2× USB4. Triple M.2 2280 (vendor max 24TB; one slot is the short straw on lanes).
Same one-year warranty as the rest of the line. 24/7 copy is marketing, not a measured duty cycle here.
Honest verdict
Buy the EVO-X5 Pro if you specifically want 192GB in a GMKtec chassis and the ~$6,800–$7,100 ticket is acceptable. You are paying for capacity over the EVO-X2, not a new architecture. Bandwidth is still Halo-class. If you want CUDA, shop Spark / GX10. The next 495 cube in the queue is ACEMAGIC F9A.
